Those organizations that develop a social media strategy that encourages employees to honor their work commitments and engage in critical dialogues via social media will be the winning companies in 2010 and beyond.

Re: How Google Wave Kills The Email [Video] | Penn Olson

Joe, if you did not get an invite, you can still buy one cheaply on eBay. :)
Some people always try to make some money, even if it is $0.99. Newfoundland and Labrador Tourism has really stepped up their social media presence, with a Facebook page, Twitter account, and social media elements on the site itself. It's worth a look - www.newfoundlandlabrador.com.

Re: Why is there not more API integration?

Hi Joe,

Couldn't agree more. The travel industry is a bunch of dinosaurs when it comes to API integration. Probably because it is so consolidated (read: monopolized) by expedia, priceline, and orbitz. Have you ever seen a list of the travel sites that do have APIs? Or even a list that says which ones don't would help people from wasting their time trying to find them (like i just did for the past 6 hours!) thanks, brett

Re: HOW TO: Get the Most Out of Posterous

Can't take credit for that post. Of course, we know that a good bunch of folks who start blogging eventually drop out because it is so labor-intensive. From your description, Preposterous looks like a nonpreposterous alternative for people. Cool that they can just email their thoughts and turn them into something blog-like. The last thing I'm looking for now is another publishing alternative, but I can see how Preposterous will be just the ticket for some people. Great post.

Re: The absolute best on this topic - to the point!

Thanks, Barry for the comment.
